Cliff Bogart has been an active commercial real estate agent or broker for over forty years. He began his career as a leasing agent for a developer of office and industrial properties in Houston, Texas. Three years later Cliff joined Coldwell Banker Commercial (now CBRE) as a broker specializing in the leasing and sale of office and industrial properties.
Profile
Cliff relocated to the Dallas area as Senior Development director for an 850,000 square foot, Class A office building in Las Colinas. After leasing the project to 99% occupancy the property was sold and Cliff formed his commercial brokerage company, The Vanguard Commercial Group, Inc., and grew it at that time to a top 20 commercial brokerage company in the Dallas/Fort Worth market. In that same year, 1995, Cliff obtained the CCIM designation.

Beginning in 2001 Cliff became an Instructor and course writer of commercial real estate classes approved by the Texas Real Estate Commission for Continuing Education credit. Since then, Cliff has created dozens of CRE courses and taught hundreds of classes in the live classroom or online virtual platforms.

In 2005 Cliff applied and was accepted as an Instructor and Faculty member of the CCIM Institute. Cliff’s primary courses for the Institute are: CI 101 – Financial Analysis for Commercial Investment Real Estate, and CI 103 – User Decision Analysis for Commercial Investment Real Estate. In 2011 Cliff was named Instructor of the Year for CI 103 User Decision Analysis.

Cliff is still an active Broker primarily representing Investors and User/Tenants of commercial real estate, primarily in Texas and occasionally across the U.S.
